Getting a File from a Server

The Get File and Send File operations can be used as alternatives to Drag and Drop transfers:

1.     Launch Beyond FTP or press  if it is running.

2.     Navigate the Address Book, displaying drives, directories, and files until you can see the file you wish to get.  This must be a remote file.

3.     Right click a file name and select Get File.

4.     Browse for the local directory where you would like to store the file.  Only the path is used from the selection.

5.     Click OK.  If you have checked Show Modify Transfer List Properties the Modify Transfer List dialog will appear.  Verify the transfers and click OK.

6.     The transfer status screen appears and presents the status of the transfer as it starts, runs, and finishes.
