This is the name by which your Beyond FTP configuration is known to remote Beyond FTP servers. The name specified here would be included in the Address Book at a remote server. Beyond FTP defaults this name to the host name provided in your Windows TCP/IP protocol configuration. This is an advantage in certain LAN configurations, since the address of your machine can be easily retrieved and used. We suggest you accept this name unless you have good reasons for changing it.
Beyond FTP configurations must have unique names. Two servers with the same name may not communicate.
