Changing the Listening Ports of the Standard FTP Server

The Standard FTP Server listens on two different ports.  One port assumes connections are clear text.  The other assumes connections will be encrypted using SSL/TLS.  This second port is called the Secure Port.

1.     Launch Beyond FTP if it is not already running.

2.     Select the Tools menu and then Standard FTP Server Administration.

3.     Enter your administrator user and password and click OK.

4.     Select the Tools menu and then Options.

5.     Modify the Port and Secure Port fields as required.

6.     Click OK.

7.     Restart Beyond FTP Services.
