Standard FTP Server Administration

The FTP server administrator is actually a separate program.  It allows you to perform all administrative tasks other than controlling user accounts.  All account maintenance is performed using the Beyond FTP Security Administrator.  See the tutorial subject Adding a User Account for the Standard FTP Server.

The display includes a list of users currently logged on to the FTP server, and the message traffic associated with those users.  You must log on with an account that possesses administrator privileges to use this program.  When you select this program in the address book, the associated user name and password is automatically provided as the starting point.  Selecting from This Computer or the Tools menu requires a user and password to proceed.
