Mail alerts are configured using the Mail Me dialog. You must first configure the default connection information if you have not done so already.
1. Select the Tools menu and then Configure MailMe!
2. Provide any user, authentication, and connection information that is requested. This must be done once.
3. Enter the email address that you to which you wish to send mail.
4. Modify the subject, body, and attachments as necessary.
5. Test the information by clicking Send. The status window will display the results of the action.
6. Select File and then Save to Parameter File to save the information as an .mpf file that can be passed to the Alert command.
