Queue Files

Beyond FTP queues are disk files that are created as needed to process transfers and scripts.  The primary queue is used to schedule drag and drop transfers as well as pending scripts.  Individual queues are created to process the actions associated with each running script.  All queues provide the following capabilities:

1.   Store and release actions based on time.  This is required for pending scripts as well as for transfers and other actions waiting to be retried.

2.   Provide restart and recovery information.  Beyond FTP transfers and scripts can be recovered and restarted following a general system failure or simply a restart of Beyond FTP.  Only the destruction of the queue file itself can prevent this from occurring.
