Reference: Firewall and Proxy Information for Beyond FTP Connections
This selection box specifies the type of firewall or proxy connection to be used when calling other Beyond FTP sites. The values are:
SOCKS 4
The SOCKS 4 standard allows a firewall to be traversed without any user/password authentication.
SOCKS 5
The SOCKS 5 standard provides for user/password challenge and authentication for traversing a firewall.
